In high school, my guidance counselor gave me one of those tests that measure your skills, strengths and values then magically formulates what you should be when you grow up. Imagine my delight when at the ripe age of 18, the computer pumped out my very own personalized life goal...HOUSE-CLEANER.

So, I went to art school.

Fast forward a couple decades, degrees and kids, I would describe myself as a recovering bureaucrat :)

At a recent point in my career I realized I needed a major change or I would lose the few marbles I had remaining in my noggin. So I left. And I haven't looked back. Some might think it cold or indifferent. (**There's a reason my husband calls me "honey badger.") But the truth is, I left to do something that brings me more joy, healing and peace than I've experienced in a long time.

Essential oils have changed the way I take care of myself and my family.  They have empowered me to be the healer of our home. And I want to empower other women and mothers to do and be the same. I believe when I find something wonderful, it is not my job to hold on tight and keep it to myself, but to share it. Even if that means a few people along the way call me "crazy oil lady." Believe me, I've been called much worse :)

Tara lives in Alaska. She is married to an amazing and talented dude. Together they have two equally amazing and talented daughters who she hopes will sneak bacon and wine (in that order) into the nursing home when she is old and senile. She holds a Master of Social Work, Bachelor of Psychology with a minor in Theology.
